Trip to Madurai

 

Secretary of PSG Schools, Thiru. N.C. Nandagopalan, The Principal, Mrs. M. Gayathri and 13 teachers of our school had been to Madurai to visit one of the famous leading institution Mahatma Montessori School and we were there for three days from 11.10.2018 to 13.10.2018 .

At present overall they have seven schools (3 CBSE schools, 3 Matriculation schools and an ICSC school) in different campuses, with 13,000 children, 600 teaching staff and 600 non teaching staff .

We have observed the various techniques followed by them to enrich the knowledge of our teachers and the standard of our school.

133 children along with 15 teachers participated in field trip to Ramayana theme park, Periyanayakanpalayam on 13.11.2019.


 

 

Children’s Trip

Six teachers and children of Stds IV & V attended the “Kovai Vizha – Science expo “ at ABC Matriculation Hr.Sec.School on 10.01.2020.


 

126 children along with 5 teachers visited G.D Naidu Car Museum on 5.11.2019.


Few teachers and children of III, IV & V attended “Science Expo “at Sri Gopal Naidu Children’s school on 27.2.2020.


Field Trip – Regional Science Centre and Science Museum – Stds ( V & VI)

                        The 60 students and 6 teachers of Stds V and VI were taken to the Regional Science Centre. Regional Science Centre imparts knowledge to children is considered as one of the most important resources. The Regional Science Centre offers a lot and have pre historic and ancient things. Science is explained in lucid way by the instructors and all the scientific phenomena are explained in an attractive way.

Field Trip -Ramakrishna Mission Temple and Ramayana Theme Park – Classes – LKG & UKG

            Field trip is something exciting and interesting. The children of kindergarten visited the Ramakrishna Mission Temple and the Ramayana Theme Park on 27.03.2024.

The story of Swami Vivekananda and Swami Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa was narrated to the children. The children really enjoyed the serene atmosphere of the place.

The Ramayana Theme Park with tall trees surrounding the entire place was breathtaking. The entrance with the idol of Lord Hanuman opening his chest to show the glimpse of Lord Rama and Sita was the centre of attraction.

There were variety of games like see–saw, swing and slide but shaped the characters like Jatayuu and Rakshasha depicting the wonderful story of Ramayana. The children delight in playing all the games, even though some of them having frightening appearances.

The field trip with the children was very useful. The importance of Ramayana story to the younger generation, adults and the family will be of great value and also to spend the quality time, admiring the beauty of the park.
