Baby M. Riya of Std VI, was honoured with the prestigious certificate of appreciation titled “Iron Girl of Coimbatore” in the Guinness World Records on March 9, 2025, for her exceptional dedication and remarkable achievements in both Bharatanatyam and badminton.

Baby M. Sana, Master M. Nishanth of Std VII and Baby V. H. Sadhana, Baby A. Danvika and Baby K. Jasvika of Std VI were awarded participation certificates for their involvement in the National Science Day Essay Competition, organised by the Department of Applied Science, PSG College of Technology, on February 28, 2025.

Thirty-eight students participated in the Mirchi Star Kids Drawing Competition (Theme: Holi) and received participation certificates on February 23, 2025, at the National Model Group of Schools, organised by Mirchi 98.3 FM.

Baby S. Nainika of Std I received a certificate of merit for securing the 2nd prize in the 10th National Yoga Sports Grand Championship 2025, organised by The Universal Yoga Academy on February 23, 2025, at Ajantha Mahal, Karur.

Baby S. Tamilniyal of Std II secured 1st place in the State-level Yogasanna competition organized by Ozone Yoga Centre, SSVM School of Excellence, and Nana Yoga Centre on February 14, 2025.

All the students participated in the Memory Game (LKG & UKG) and the Tamil/English handwriting competitions (Stds I–VII) and won 78 prizes on February 14, 2025. The event provided a platform for students to showcase their memorization and handwriting skills while promoting creativity, concentration, and a sense of friendly competition.

Baby M. D. Theshmitha of Std III received a participation certificate and medal for setting a world record by spinning a silambam stick while kneeling on one knee for 6 hours. The achievement was recognized by the Cholan Book of World Records (CBWR), took place on February 9, 2025, at Tamilnadu College of Engineering, Coimbatore, organised by the Scorpion Academy of Martial Arts and A.K. Silambam Academy (SITSSA).

The following students participated in the maximum number of performances of instrumental music and Bharatanatyam with the Lord Murugan Sword Weapon for 10 minutes, which was registered in the Nobel World Records registry, Record No. NW/2025/795, on February 11, 2025. The event was organized by Sri Amirthavarshini Isai Nadana Kalai Sangam and Velammal Bodhi Campus, Puducherry, jointly with the Department of Tourism:

Baby S. Nainika of Standard I received a participation certificate for taking part in the maximum number of participants attempting the cobra pose (Bhujangasana) for 150 seconds while holding a cup of water on her forehead. It was considered as a New World Record and registered it in the Nobel World Records registry under Record No. NWR/2025/794 organised by the Indian Yogasana Sports Federation (IYSF) on February 2, 2025.

Baby M. Riya of Standard VI was awarded the title of “Young Rising Achiever” by SNDP Yogam Peelamedu Sakha 5270 Balajanayogam on February 2, 2025, at Renugadevi Kovil Mandapam, Peelamedu, Coimbatore.

Master S. Vishnu Mithran of Std II received a participation certificate in the SK Trophy 1st Edition, Coimbatore District Level Chess Tournament held on January 26, 2025 at Ology Tech School, Velammal, Peelamedu, Coimbatore, in the under-11 years category.

Baby V. Mahalakshmi and Baby M. Mrittika of Std VI received participation certificates for their dedication and artistic contribution in celebrating Lord Nataraja’s grace through Bharathanatyam on Aarudhra Darshan, held on January 11, 2025, at Arumigu Mangaleshwari Thirukovil, Thiru Utharakosamangai, organized by Ramanathapuram Samasthanam Devasthanam Art Journey Mentoring Association.

Master A. S. Shanakya Mithran of Standard I received a special prize for participating in the Kovai Vasanthavasal Kavimandram’s Pongal Poetry Event on January 12, 2025, at Periyar Nagar, Nehru Nagar East, Coimbatore – 641 014.

Sixty-one students of PSG MS participated in the SNS 9th Junior Athletic Meet – 2025, organized by Kovai Athletic Club on January 9th and 10th, 2025, at Nehru Stadium, Coimbatore, where Baby M. S. Praghyasree of Std IV secured 2nd place in the shot put event under the 10 years category, and Baby J. Sakthi Parvathi of UKG secured 1st place in the cricket ball throw event under the 6 years category.

The following students from Stds II to VI participated in the Graham bell World Records event at Maple Universe Mazhalaiyar School in Sundakkamuthur on 29.12.2024, alongside nearly 250 other students from various schools, who attempted to set the record for the most rolls of the alangara silambam while blindfolded, continuously for three hours.

- As the saying goes, “Today’s Youth is Tomorrow’s Future.” Riya M, The uncut diamond of PSGMS, studying in grade 5, is an exemplary student, has been recognised by Phoenix Books of Records, for performing the Indian Folk dance by carrying the fire pot on her head and dancing on the broken glass pieces for 1800 minutes at the age of seven. As a continuation to her previous record, she has made three more world records, namely: Orange World Book, Einstein World Record, Semmozhi Books of World Record and she also received the “Kalaiarasi” award from the Minister of Arts and Culture, at Chennai.
- Riya is a versatile child, imprints her talent not in just one field, but also marks her presence in the field of sports too. She began her sports journey in the field of Badminton at the age of 6. She has won more than 65 trophies and medals, at the district level because of her passion in this sport.
- On International Women’s Day 2024, she won “Singapenne” award from Mrs. Vishnu Vardhini, the Deputy Collector of Coimbatore. She received the “Young Achiever” award in the Women’s Day program held at CIT, Coimbatore.
- As rightly quoted by Coco Chanel, “Success is often achieved by those who don’t know that failure is inevitable.”

Baby Srilekha of Std V participated in a Classical Dance Competition “Sri Narthagi – 2021 “ conducted by Gurukuam Institute , Coimbatore and won the third prize among five hundred (500)children.
