Scribbling Art / Lunch Plates Using Clay
and Face Artย
On January 23, 2026, PSG MS conducted an intra-school competition to showcase the creativity of the students. Kindergarten children expressed their imagination through scribbling art, children from Stds I to V crafted unique lunch plates using clay, and students from Stds VI to VIII designed vibrant tribal and cultural face art on paper. The event successfully highlighted the artistic talents of all participants.
INFACT Knowledge Quest 2025
The CIT Quiz Club organized the interschool quiz competition, INFACT Knowledge Quest 2025, on November 13, 2025, at the Coimbatore Institute of Technology, Coimbatore. Students from Stds VI to VIII actively participated and were awarded certificates for their performance.
Young Environmental Scientist
On November 11, 2025, students from grades VI to VIII enthusiastically participated in the Young Environmental Scientist event, organized by the Industrial Waste Management Association in association with PSG Institute of Advanced Studies, held at PSG Institute of Technology, Peelamedu, Coimbatore.

Clay Creation / Mask Making and
Mehndi and Tattoo competition
The Intra-School Competition at PSG MS was held on November 7 and 8, 2025. Kindergarten children enthusiastically participated in the Clay Creation (Letters/Numbers) competition and showcased their talents, where children from Std I to V took part in a Mask Making competition. Students from Std VI to VIII showcased their artistry in the Mehndi and Tattoo competition.
Bhagavad Gita Session
Students from Stds VI to VII were taught the values of the Bhagavad Gita by Ms. R. Krishna Kumari, volunteer from ISKCON, from November 5, 2025 to November 7, 2025, at 10.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.
Quiz Competition
On October 29, 2025, Tamil Nadu Science Forum (TNSF) collaborated with โเฎคเฏเฎณเฎฟเฎฐเฏ เฎเฎฃเฏเฎเฎพเฎเฏเฎเฎฟ & เฎตเฎฟเฎฉเฎพเฎเฎฟ เฎตเฎฟเฎฉเฎพโ, which was conducted at Hindusthan College of Arts and Science, Navaindia, Coimbatore. Students of PSG MS from Stds VI to VIII enthusiastically participated and were awarded the certificates for their efforts.
ย Innovation Expo
On October 24, 2025, students from Stds VI to VIII enthusiastically participated in the โเฎตเฏเฎเฏเฎเฏเฎเฏเฎเฏ เฎเฎฐเฏ เฎตเฎฟเฎเฏเฎเฎพเฎฉเฎฟ เฎฎเฎพเฎฃเฎตเฎฐเฏ เฎฎเฏเฎเฏ โ 2025โ event conducted by Hindustan College of Arts and Science in collaboration with Puthiya Thalaimurai. The participants showcased their scientific knowledge and creativity through presentations on a variety of innovative topics.
Dot-to-Dot Competition / Diya Painting and
Greeting Card Making Competition
An Intra-School Competition was held on October 16 and 17, 2025. Kindergarten children participated in a Dot-to-Dot Competition, while children from Stds I to III painted colourful Diyas. Students from Stds IV to VIII revealed their creativity by designing beautiful Diwali Greeting Cards. The event was filled with joy, fun, and festive excitement as everyone enjoyed showcasing their artistic talents.
Coimbatore District Athletic Meet
Baby S.Y. Samitha of Std-VII participated in the Coimbatore District Athletic Meet in the 80 m hurdles under-14 category, held at Nehru Stadium, Coimbatore, on October 14, 2025.
Mass Pledge
A mass pledge for all staff and students was conducted on October 9, 2025 at 11.11 a.m. as part of Naan Uyir Kavalan (เฎจเฎพเฎฉเฏ เฎเฎฏเฎฟเฎฐเฏ เฎเฎพเฎตเฎฒเฎฉเฏ)โa city-wide mission for Vibathilla Kovai (Accident-Free Coimbatore) led by Uyir Trust in collaboration with the Tamil Nadu Government, Tamil Nadu Police, and the District Administration.
Handwriting Olympiad Competition-2025
The students of UKG – Std VIII ย took part in the Handwriting Olympiad Competition 2025 on September 3, 2025, and showed their neat and beautiful handwriting.
ISKCON Drawing Competition
On July 30, 2025, students from Kindergarten to Std VIII participated in the drawing competition organised by ISKCON, where they eagerly showcased their artistic talents.
Tinting / Warli Art Competition
The Intra School Competition on June 27,2025 and June 28, 2025 – Tinting (LKG & UKG), Warli Art (Stds I – V) and Theme Drawing (Stds VI โ VIII) were conducted to showcase the studentsโ artistic expression and creativity while promoting creative thinking.
Election for SPL & ASPL
On June 16, 2025, Student election was conducted at PSGMS through digital voting to elect the School Pupil Leader (SPL) and Assistant School Pupil Leader (ASPL).

Science Expo
Students of classes 6 and 7 were taken to PSG Polytechnic College to explore the science exhibits at the Expo. Their visit was from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on April 17th, 2025.
World Water Day Awareness
Baby M. Sana and Baby P. G. Amirdaversine of Std-VII had a conversation for students about World Water Day on March 21, 2025, emphasizing water conservation and simple ways to save water. Their conversation encouraged the students to adopt water-saving habits.
Interschool Recycling Championship-2025
The “Interschool Recycling Championship 2025”, an initiative of ITC and organized by the Residents Awareness Association of Coimbatore (RAAC), was conducted for Stds I-VII on March 17, 2025.
Mathematics Enrichment Session
Mr. Haul Thorai, retired mathematics teacher, conducted an engaging session for Standard IV students in the AV Room on March 14, 2025, focussing on reinforcing essential mathematical concepts.
Nature Week Awareness Programme
To mark Nature Week, students from CAP and the Nature Club of PSG College of Technology organised an awareness programme for Stds VI & VII on March 14, 2025 at the AV Room, PSG MS. The event covered topics such as the proper disposal of microplastics, the recent mumps outbreak and its prevention and included an interactive session on endangered species.
An awareness programme on road safety
A road safety session was conducted by Dr K. V. Vinayagamoorthy, Safety Training Officer, on March 14, 2025, for students of Standards V to VII at the Conference hall, PSG MS. The session focused on raising awareness about road safety, traffic rules and staying safe while travelling.
An awareness programme on waste segregation
An awareness programme on waste segregation was conducted for all students from KG to Standard VII, led by Mr. Shamraj, Ms. Steffi, and the WoW team from RAAC (Residents Awareness Association of Coimbatore) on March 14, 2025
Medical Camp
A medical camp for students from KG to Std II was held by the Corporation Urban Health Centre, Peelamedu, on March 13, 2025, offering check-ups, consultations, and guidance for the students’ well-being.
Science Expo
Students of Stds VI and VII attended the Science Expo at Suguna Polytechnic College, Coimbatore, on February 28, 2025, for National Science Day.
Awareness Programme
The Young Indians Coimbatore Chapter’s Masoom Vertical conducted two sessions. Ms. Anupa Ramachandran led the ‘Are You Cyber Smart?’ session for students of Stds V-VII on February 21, 2024 and Ms. Madhagini conducted the ‘Child Sexual Awareness’ session for students of Stds II-IV on February 24, 2025, focusing on safety in both the digital and physical world.
Science Fair 2025
Five teams of students from Standards VI and VII, with the guidance of science teachers, created working science models. Videos of the models were recorded and submitted for the Science Fair 2025, organized by Sankara Polytechnic College, Saravanampatti, on February 20, 2025.
Picture Puzzle Competition
A fun and engaging Picture Puzzle competition was conducted for LKG and UKG students on February 27, 2025, helping them improve their cognitive and problem-solving skills.
Spelling Bee Competition
The Spelling Bee competition for students of standards I to III was held on February 27, 2025, encouraging young learners to enhance their vocabulary and spelling abilities.
Quiz Competition
A Quiz competition was conducted for students of standards IV to VII on February 27, 2025, promoting critical thinking and general knowledge among participants.
Gitathon’24
The Gitathon’24 poster-making and quiz competition was conducted for Std V – VII on January 24, 2025.
Bhagavad Gita Session
Thirty-one students from Classes V to VII were taught the values of the Bhagavad Gita by Ms. R. Krishnakumari and Ms. J. Sharmila, volunteers from ISKCON, on January 6, 7, and 8, from 10.00 a.m to 12.30 p.m.
Bharatanatyam Programme
Baby P.K. Pranaveka, Baby G. Gaveshana, and Baby A. Danvika of Stds V and VI received a memento for participating in the Bharatanatyam program held at the Guruvayur Sri Krishna Temple Auditorium on September 7, 2024.
Preservation of Water Resources
A seminar on โPreservation of Water Resourcesโ was conducted for students of Stds V, VI, and VII on September 3, 2024, focusing on the importance of water conservation and promoting sustainable practices.
Dance Competition
Baby V. Maha Lakshmi, Baby A. Danvika, Baby P.G. Amirdaversine, and Baby M. Sana of Std VI and VII have participated in a dance competition organised by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) on 25.08.2024.
Cyber Champions โ A mega cyber safety and legal awareness programme
Students of Std VI and VII, along with a few teachers, participated in the Cyber Champions โ a mega cyber safety and legal awareness program for school students organized by Rotary International District 3201 on 20.08.2024, where they gained valuable knowledge about online security, privacy protection, and responsible digital behavior.
Drawing Competition
Students from kindergarten to Std III and Std IV to VII participated in a colouring and drawing competition, respectively, organised by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) on 12.08.2024, showcasing their artistic talents and creative skills.
3D Image Architecture
Students of Std IV participated in the Art-Integrated Creative Engagement workshop on “3D Image Architecture” and created their own 3D glasses to witness flat images come alive in stunning 3D.
