Students’ Corner
Master Raksen.R of Std. V-A donated a book to the school library on September 10, 2026, on the occasion of his birthday. His thoughtful gesture encouraged the spirit of sharing and promoted the habit of reading among students. The school appreciated his meaningful contribution to the library.
On August 24, 2026 and August 25, 2026, a Book Exhibition was organised at our school in association with New Century Book House Pvt. Ltd. A wide range of books in English and Tamil, including storybooks, General Knowledge, Quiz, Grammar, Activity, Colouring, Computer Science, Spoken English and other educational books, were displayed. The exhibition offered students an enriching opportunity to explore a variety of books and cultivate a strong interest in reading and learning.
On August 22, 2026, a Math Workshop was conducted for students through engaging and playful activities. The session was led by Mr. P. S. Prabakaran, Resource Person, and Mr. R. Hariharan, Programme Coordinator, Maxeq.
On August 11, 2026, students and staff of PSG MS took the “Drug-Free Tamil Nadu” pledge to raise awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse. The initiative encouraged students to stay away from drugs, maintain a healthy lifestyle, and lead a responsible life. It also promoted awareness, self-discipline, and a commitment to building a safe and drug-free society.
On August 7, 2026, the Principal of PSG MS felicitated the Class Leaders from Kindergarten to Std VIII by presenting them with leadership badges during the morning assembly.
On July 30, 2026, the students of Std VIII attended the IKS (Indian Knowledge System) Science Expo at Aanadi Foundation, Palani, accompanied by six teachers.
On July 23, 2026, the Singapen Special Force (SSF) conducted an awareness programme on emergency helpline numbers and the Singapenne initiative to educate students on personal safety, anti-harassment laws, and emergency support. The session helped students understand the importance of safety, seeking timely assistance, and taking responsible action during emergencies.
On July 3, 2026, an Animal Welfare Awareness Programme was conducted for students of Stds I to VIII in collaboration with the Human Animal Society (HAS), Coimbatore. Students learned about safe and compassionate behaviour towards street dogs , precautions to prevent dog bites, first-aid and medical treatment after a dog bite, the importance of vaccinating pet animals, and identifying the authorities concerned to contact for animal-related assistance. The interactive session fostered empathy towards animals while promoting responsible pet care and public safety.
| On June 30, 2026, POGO Tamil Thiruvizha brought the spirit of Tamil traditions to life through engaging games and cultural activities for the children from stds IV to VIII. The event encouraged joyful learning while strengthening students’ connection to their rich cultural heritage. It was a delightful blend of fun, learning, and tradition. |
Students from Kindergarten to Stds VIII enthusiastically participate in brisk walk every Wednesday to promote fitness and well- being among students.
Baby R.R. Shreenika of Std IV donated a book to our school library on her birthday on June 22, 2026, to share the joy of reading with others.
On June 16, 2026, the Uyir – Kutty Cops Team conducted an awareness programme on road safety, Childline services, good touch and bad touch, responsible use of social media, and the prevention of traffic violations. The team also created awareness about the Kavalan App and screened informative videos for the students.
The Secretary of PSG Schools conducted an engaging grammar class for Stds VI to VIII at PSG MS on March 26, 2026 from 10.30 a.m. to 12 noon.
Baby M. Varna of Std III donated a book to our school library on her birthday on March 23, 2026, to share the joy of reading with others.
A mock drill demonstration was conducted by Mr. Rangaraju, Fire Safety Officer, on March 05, 2026.
As part of an initiative by the Tamil Nadu Education Department, our school organized a screening of the short film ‘குழந்தைகளின் சலாம் கலாம்’ for our students on February 02, 2026.
On January 5, 2026, the PSG Kadambari 2026 Music Festival was organized by PSG & Sons’ Charities. The event was held at the PSG IMSR & H Auditorium, Coimbatore. Fourteen students from PSG MS participated and were awarded certificates for their outstanding performances.
On December 3, 2025, PSG Inter – School Chess and Carrom tournament was conducted at PSG Primary School, Peelamedu, Coimbatore. Students of PSG MS enthusiastically participate among the students of PSG PS . The Chief Guest of the event was Mr. N.C. Nandagopalan, Secretary, PSG Schools.
On November 3, 2025, Gokul from Std 6 proudly presented a green sapling to PSG MS, paving the way for a sustainable future.

The Kutty Cops Training Programme was conducted on July 12, 2025 by Dr. K.V. Vinayagamoorthi, Safety Training Officer. Four teachers and twenty one students participated in the programme. |
The Tamil Club activity was conducted on June 24, 2025, for students of Stds I to VIII to enhance their interest and skills in the Tamil language.

On June 16, 2025, Student election was conducted at PSGMS through digital voting to elect the School Pupil Leader (SPL) and Assistant School Pupil Leader (ASPL).

The last working day for kindergarten was marked by fun activities such as balloon blowing, palm printing and a no-flame cooking session on April 4, 2025.
The students from kindergarten to Std VII joyfully recited the Vishnu Sahasranama on 02.09.2024, celebrating their cultural heritage and devotion.
On August 1, 2024, Mr. Jayakumar, Sub-Inspector of Police and Mr. Kannan, Traffic Police interacted with our students, encouraging them to follow traffic rules and understand their importance. The students participated in a road safety patrol at the school.
All students from kindergarten to Std VII participate in the mass drill every Friday, which helps to develop physical fitness and coordination.
Students listened to the audio recording of N.G.M. College President, Mr. Vanavarayar’s address honouring India’s greatest spiritual leader, Swami Vivekananda on July 9, 2024. This helped the students improve their listening skills and self-confidence.
A unique digital magazine platform, “Yellow Owl” was introduced to the students of Std V. Students are actively engaged with innovative learning activities that develop their skills.
